One Client’s Journey Back to Being Themselves

My client came to me in November 2024, and in their own words, they were “frazzled, constantly on edge and feeling like they had no direction in life.”
A combination of working too hard, making no time for their hobbies, and being caught in a spiral of negative thoughts made it impossible for them to function properly. They were also suffering from physical symptoms caused by chronic stress, including frequent headaches and muscular tension.

Their priorities were to feel less stressed and ease their physical symptoms. It’s so easy to get caught in a spiral of negative thoughts, which can start to take over if we let them.
The first session involved learning more about where they were at mentally and physically (they’d already completed an online questionnaire), and tailoring their first hypnosis accordingly.
Despite their anxious state, the client was very receptive to being guided into a hypnotic trance state and said this after our initial call: “I knew immediately on speaking to Debbie that I’d made the right choice. I won’t go into all the issues we discussed and worked on during our eight weeks together. However, these included healing childhood trauma, feelings of not being ‘good enough’ and the importance of journaling to process emotions and break the spiral of negative thoughts.
